課程概述 |
本課程在將討論16到19世紀東亞與歐洲工藝美術交流，課程的兩個主要意義在於: 對過去探討此時期文化交流忽略工藝美術的偏頗情況提出反思，考察歐洲與東亞在工藝技術以及風格方面的交流互動，並將日本也納入考慮的範圍，探討日本與歐洲之間，以及日本與中國之間有關歐洲工藝的交流網絡。 |

課程目標 |
課程旨在帶領學生從亞洲藝術的宏觀角度，去觀察分析東亞與歐洲工藝美術的具體交流。希望藉由這個新觀察點，啟發學生反省過去研究的盲點，發展出新的研究角度，重新探討東亞與歐洲間工藝美術具體的互動與交流。透過累積的個案研究，更客觀來評估、理解當時文化交流的脈絡。 |
